I adore makeup, but getting the confidence to wear bright lip colours was something that took an awful lot of time to achieve. I simply didn’t have it or much confidence in myself after a miserable breakup. I always envied those that could wear a bright lip and not give a care if it worked or not.
Once I finally built up my own confidence I thought it was time to venture outside of my safe zone and embrace bright lips. I choose Ruby Woo because I love the pigmentation. It truly is stunning and a perfect 1920’s shade of red.
The lipstick glides on smoothly and has amazing staying power. After about 4 hours of wear I do feel it drying on my lips. It’s not as sever as others have described. You can feel it but your lips don’t look dry. My quick solution is to apply another layer. Simples.
I looked into which lip-liner would suit Ruby Woo best, Redd came up time and time again. The creamy texture glides onto your lip, but it is very easy to make a mistake so make sure to have some makeup remover at hand incase you do make a small mistake. I also love wearing Redd on its own (of course filled in) and adding a clear gloss for a more glam look.
Overall I adore Ruby Woo, it’s a stunning vibrant red lipstick that will brighten your day. Having found my inner confidence, it now gives me an extra boost which makes wearing it even more enjoyable.
