Gosh Copenhagen is one of the perfect drug store brands. Not only is it affordable but as a brand they’re always innovating while still having their core collection at its heart. Their products hit two great selling points, quality and affordability. Meaning great makeup for everyone. When asked to do a review of some of their products, how could I say no!?!
I’m not the biggest lipstick wearer, yet I seem to own a lot! I have to say I’m in love with this formula, unlike other matt lipsticks they don’t dry my lips out, why? It’s all down to one key ingredient: hyaluronic acid. I adore how deeply pigmented the classic red (005) and Rose (002) are, two stunning colours that never go out of style.
I’m not going to lie. I was a bit hesitant using this primer. Why? I’m very fussy when i comes to primers, as I have dehydration lines on my forehead (not as noticeable since I started incorporating Skinade into my skincare routine, thank you!) As you can gather from the product name it’s designed to illuminate the skin, thus allowing for a radiant complexion. How does it score? Very well surprisingly – makeup stays put all day and I can confirm I do have that ‘glow’ when I wear this primer along with ZERO dehydration lines on show.
I have to say, I was impressed with the palette. The pigmentation is fabulous for a drug store brand, how the shadows blend together is simply flawless. With 9 shades to choose from and it being so compact it’s perfect to have in our makeup bag and to brings you from day to night in an instant.
We all know that wearing mascara can damage our lashes, this is one of the good guys as it’s packet full of good ingredients to help give your lashes the nourishment they need. The only down side for me is that as it’s not a volumising mascara I don’t get the effect I look for in a mascara.
Overall Gosh is a really solid brand, that I really enjoyed playing with. Have you a favourite product from gosh that you just can’t live without?
